Rongsheng Graphite Electrode
Graphite electrode is mainly made of petroleum coke, needle coke as raw material, coal pitch as binder, calcination, batching, kneading, pressing, roasting, graphitization, machining, is in the electric arc furnace in the form of electric arc to release electrical energy to heat and melt the charge.
The graphite electrodes produced by Rongsheng can be divided into ordinary power graphite electrodes, high-power graphite electrodes and ultra-high-power graphite electrodes according to their quality indicators.
Graphite Electrodes Application
(1) Used in electric arc steelmaking furnace
Electric furnace steelmaking is the main application of graphite electrodes. Electric furnace steelmaking uses graphite electrodes to introduce current into the furnace, and uses a high-temperature heat source generated by the arc between the electric pole and the charge to smelt.
(2) Used in mine thermal electric furnace
Mineral thermoelectric furnace is mainly used in the production of industrial silicon and yellow phosphorus, etc., which is characterized by the lower part of the conductive electrode buried in the charge, forming an arc in the material layer, and using the heat energy emitted by the resistance of the charge itself to heat the charge, which requires a high current density of the mine thermoelectric furnace to use graphite electrodes.
(3) Used in resistance furnaces
The graphitization furnace for the production of graphite products, the melting furnace for melting glass and the electric furnace for the production of silicon carbide are all resistance furnaces, and the materials contained in the furnace are both heating resistance and heated objects, usually, the graphite electrode for conduction is embedded in the furnace wall at the end of the resistance furnace, and the graphite electrode here is not continuously consumed.
(4) For the preparation of special-shaped graphite products
The blank of the graphite electrode is also used to process into various crucibles, molds, boats and heating elements and other special-shaped graphite products.
