Silica Refractory Mortar
The raw materials of silica refractory mortar are silica powder, silica brick powder, plastic clay, binding agent and additives. The principle crystalline phase of silica powder are β quartz, which will have phase conversion during heating, therefore its volume is not stable. Silica brick powders are the milled high temperature sintered silica bricks or used silica bricks, which have smaller volume change at high temperature.
