Chrome Corundum Brick Introduce

Chrome corundum brick refers to corundum refractory products containing Cr2O3, which is a refractory brick formulated with alumina powder and a certain proportion of chromium oxide, which is formed by high temperature melting.  The main mineral composition is α-Al2O3-Cr2O3, which is green before burning and purple-red after burning.  The bricks are not affected by H2, CO gase. The application of more chrome corundum products, Cr2O3 content is mostly in the range of 9% ~ 15%, there are two kinds of fused chrome corundum bricks and sintered chrome corundum bricks.

According to the different chromium content, it can be divided into three types: low chromium chromium corundum, medium chromium chromium corundum, and high chromium chromium chromium corundum.

Chrome corundum bricks are widely used in petrochemical industry gasifiers such as glass kiln lining, brushed glass flow hole cover bricks, hot metal pre-treatment devices, garbage incinerators, coal water slurry pressurized gasifier backing, zinc smelting electric furnaces, carbon black furnaces, copper smelting furnaces, steel push type metallurgical furnaces, volatilization kilns, and taphole.

Chrome corundum bricks can also be used in industrial equipment with high temperature, high pressure, and strong corrosiveness.
