Magnesite chrome bricks are refractory products with magnesium oxide (MgO) and chromium oxide (Cr2O3) as the main components, and periclase and spinel as the main mineral components.

1.Common Magnesite chrome brick is made by sintered magnesia and refractory level chrome ore as raw materials. The space between refractory grains is bonded with silicate. 
2.Direct-bonded Magnesite chrome brick is made by chrome ore with low content of impurities and pure magnesite,firing at the temperature above 1700°C. 
3.Semi-rebonded and Fuse-rebonded magnesite chrome brick are made by fused magnesite chrome sinter.

Magnesia chrome brick Application:

Magnesium chromium bricks are mainly used in the metallurgical industry, such as constructing open hearth furnace tops, electric furnace tops, external refining furnaces, and various non-ferrous metal smelting furnaces. Molten magnesia chrome bricks are used at the high temperature part of the furnace wall of the ultra high power electric furnace, magnesia chrome bricks made of synthetic materials are used in the high erosion area of the external refining furnace, and magnesia chrome bricks made of molten magnesia chrome bricks and synthetic materials are used in the high erosion area of the non-ferrous Flash smelting furnace. In addition, magnesium chromium bricks are also used in areas such as the firing zone of cement rotary kilns,RH, VOD, AOD furnaces and the regenerative chamber of glass kilns.
