The honeycomb ceramic as heat transfer media is the key part for heat storing HTAC(High Temperature Air Combustion)technology,which has low heat expansion coefficient,large surface area,good heat stability and anti-corrosion.It has got wide application in many industrial productions(especiallu it was widely application in RTO/RCO system by domestic market and global market).Our company has produced more than 10 types of honeycomb ceramic heat storage substrate accoring to the USA and european series of honeycomb ceramic materials.
RTO/RCO honeycomb ceramics application features
RTO, refers to regenerative thermal oxidation technology, the English name is "Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer". RTO regenerative thermal oxidation uses a new unsteady heat transfer method to recover heat. The principle is to heat the organic waste gas to 760'C The above makes the VOC in the exhaust gas oxidized and decomposed into CO; and H2O. The high-temperature gas generated by the oxidation flows through the special ceramic regenerator, which makes the ceramic body heat up and "restores heat", which is used to preheat the subsequent organic waste gas. , thereby saving the fuel consumption of exhaust gas heating. RTO technology is suitable for treating medium and low concentration (100-3500mg/m) waste gas, and the decomposition efficiency is 95%-99%.
RCO, refers to the regenerative catalytic combustion method, English is "Regenerative Catalytic Oxidation Oxidition". The working principle of RCO regenerative catalytic combustion method is: the first step is the adsorption of VOC molecules by the catalyst, which increases the concentration of the reactants, and the first step is the adsorption of VOC molecules by the catalyst. The second step is the catalytic oxidation stage to reduce the activation energy of the reaction and increase the reaction rate. With the help of the catalyst, the organic waste gas can undergo anaerobic combustion at a lower light-off temperature, and decompose into CO2 and H2O to release a large amount of heat. Compared with direct combustion, it has the characteristics of low light-off temperature and low energy consumption. Under certain circumstances, after reaching the ignition temperature, no external heating is required, and the reaction temperature is 250-400'C.
