Alkali Resistance Castable Introduction

Alkali resistant refractory castables belong to Aluminium silicate system slightly acidic refractory castables, which can resist the erosion of alkali metal oxides (such as K2O and Na2O).   Alkali resistant castables take alkali resistant ceramsite, clay clinker, waste porcelain material, high-strength expanded Perlite, etc. as aggregate, and Calcium aluminates cement or water glass as binder.

The alkali resistant casting material forms a crust and erosion resistant protective layer on the surface at a temperature of 1250 ºC.   It can effectively prevent the alkaline airflow in the cement kiln material and the erosion and penetration of the material on the casting body at high temperatures.   Alkali resistant castable is widely used in cement Rotary kiln due to its advantages of high strength and low density
