Description of Fused Stabilized Zirconia

Stabilized zirconia: Since phase changes occur during heating, these phase changes can be controlled by adding dopants called stabilizers. Once stabilized, zirconia can be used in applications operating at temperatures in excess of 2200 degrees Celsius. RONGSHENG offers a range of fused stabilized zirconia and monoclinic zirconia powders and beads.

Stabilized zirconia, fused: Fused zirconia can be stabilized during the melting process by adding stabilizers such as yttria, magnesia, and calcium oxide. After melting, the material is pulverized and ground into different particle sizes. RONGSHENG offers a range of YSZ, MgSZ and CaSZ powders.

Fused Calcia Stabilized Zirconia:


Fused calcia stabilized zirconia is made of various grades of zirconia, adding calcia as stabilizer, using our patent technique. It is used to produce all kinds of zirconia ceramic and refractory products, such as refractory setter for electro-ceramic industry,sizing nozzle, sliding plates, submerged nozzle, zirconia hollow ball products, high quality zirconia furnace furniture,etc.

Fused Magnesium Stabilized Zirconia:

This material is made of highly pure zirconia, which is stabilized by MgO, it is used in the special zirconia ceramic products,such as grinding body, sizing muzzle,metallurgical slide, zirconium ring and ceramic stricture piece,etc.

Fused Yttrium Stabilized Zirconia:

This material is made of highy pure zircon,which is stabilized Y2O3,it is used in the special zirconia ceramic products, such as zirconia grinding body,refractory setter for electro-ceramic industry, long nozzle and monolithic stopper for C.C, plasma spraying apparatus and zirconia oxygen sensor inspection.

Fused Stabilized Zirconia Application:

The calcium oxide stabilized zirconia produced by our company's patented technology and different grades of zirconia raw materials can be used to produce various zirconia ceramics and refractory products. Such as: electronic setter plate, sizing nozzle, sliding plate, intrusion nozzle, zirconia hollow ball products, zirconia high-grade kiln furniture products, etc.

1. It is used in the manufacture of various ceramics, optical glass, phosphors, laser materials and refractory materials, as a catalyst for the synthesis from and hydrogen;

2. Used as an additive material for phosphors and magnetic materials;

3. It is mainly used to manufacture composite oxides such as single crystal, yttrium iron garnet, yttrium aluminum neodymium garnet, etc. These composite oxides can be used as magnetic materials for microwaves and important materials communication projects due to their good high-frequency performance. It can also be used as advanced optical glass additive to make high temperature transparent glass, ceramic material additive, rare earth phosphor for x-ray intensifying screen, high-brightness phosphor for large-screen TV and other picture tube coatings.
