Product Description Of Zirconium Silicate
Zirconium silicates is non-toxic, tasteless, white or offwhite powder, made of high-purity zircon sand concentrates by process of ultra-thin crushing, iron removal, titanium processing, surface modification, etc., and is a good-quality and cheap opacifier, whitening agent, permeability-reducing agent and stabilizing agent of ceramic glaze.
Zirconium silicates has good chemical stability, is insusceptible to ceramics firing atmosphere, can obviously improve the glaze-body bonding performance of ceramics and the hardness of ceramic glaze, and is widely used in the production of various building ceramics, sanitary ceramics, domestic ceramics, first-class ceramic artware, etc.
Product Feature of Zirconium Silicate
(1)As an additive for ceramic glaze, zirconium silicate can increase the whiteness, strength, wear resistance, hydrolysis resistance and corrosion resistance with the decrease of particle size within a certain particle size range, enhance the self-cleaning ability and reduce the dosage.
(2)Since the nano-scale zirconium silicate powder has strong hydrolysis resistance, it can be used as the carrier of nano-functional powder in the water environment.
