Product Description

Corundum Mullite Brick Introduce

Main material of corundum mullite brick is imported plate corundum, high pure fused corundum, adopt advanced superfine powder adding technology, it is made by the mixing material, drying, molding and burned in high temperature shuttle kiln.

Corundum bricks are refractory products with an alumina content of more than 90% and a main crystal phase of corundum. The room temperature compressive strength can reach 340MPa, and the load softening start temperature is greater than 1700ºC. It has good chemical stability and has strong resistance to acidic or alkaline slag, metal, and liquid glass.


Corundum Brick includes two types of Sintered Corundum Brick and Fused Cast Corundum Brick.Sintered Corundum Brick adopts sintered alumina as the raw material through sintering process.

1.Sintered Corundum Brick

Sintered corundum bricks refer to corundum refractory products made from sintered alumina clinker. This brick has a high melting point, stable performance at high temperatures, good mechanical strength and wear resistance at room and high temperatures, and superior resistance to metal corrosion and oxidation reduction

2.Fused Cast Corundum Brick

With α-Al2O3 and β-Al2O3 as the main crystal phases, fused corundum bricks not only have dense crystals, excellent corrosion resistance to molten glass and good wear resistance at high temperature, but also does not pollute molten glass.
